:: About: The Keall FoundationThe Keall Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of abandoned and attachment challenged individuals worldwide. Janet Keall, founder and president of the Keall Foundation, created the Foundation in 2005 in support of the vision that every abandoned individual deserves a platform of communication to enrich their lives, heal their wounds and create awareness through the connection with other abandoned individuals. The Keall Foundation focuses on increasing awareness to this overall issue; promotes knowledge of attachment and attachment disorders; promotes positive attachment with adoptive families; researching statistics and individual outcomes while supporting the online community to connect, support and heal the abandoned. Vision: Mission: Primary Focus:
Core Values: The Keall Foundation was founded primarily to enhance the lives of abandoned individuals worldwide. We aim to connect, heal and support the abandoned on such a critical and widespread issue and teach the importance of attachment and the effects of institutionization. We see on a daily basis how legislation has encouraged, enacted laws and deal with abandonment; however do they enact resources to help that person? What happens to that baby when they become an adult? Where can they go for help? Who do they relate to? Why do most adoption agencies spend little time on educating attachment issues and disorders? Those questions are the very reason why we strive everyday to make this online community better and better. To make this mission successful, we are devoted to internal excellence, strategic thinking and planning, results-oriented performance, and collaborative actions. We believe that all abandoned individuals must be a priority across political, economic and cultural entities; that we can disagree about approaches to this issue, but must be committed to respecting each other's views; that this issue, which may appear overwhelmingly unsolvable, can be resolved within the abandoned individual when addressed in an open and honest forum. In closing, we honor the memory of all abandoned children who have not had the great fate of choosing life. |
